How AZEx works, no jargon
Imagine a candy shop. Every time Tommy wants to buy candy, the shopkeeper can do a quick check before and after the purchase:
Before the trade: the shopkeeper might say, “Wait, candy is running low, let me adjust the price a little,” or “I’ll make sure you don’t buy too much at once.”
When stock is added or removed: the shopkeeper can decide, “If I suddenly have a lot more candy, maybe I’ll offer a discount. If I have too little, I might temporarily close this candy flavor.”
Uniswap v4 gives us this “shopkeeper with rules” ability. Our protocol uses it for trading: before swaps, we can adjust fees, rebalance positions, or protect liquidity providers. If liquidity gets too low, the system can even decide to pause or delist a market.
So instead of a simple candy shop where you just buy and leave, we now have a smart shopkeeper who keeps everything fair and safe for both buyers and suppliers.
